I had some bills to pay in town during the week. I left AJ with his big sister C at the library to choose some books.
After sharing this lovely activity book with AJ, I left him to look through it again on his own. He actually fell asleep with it in his hands.

I was so pleased when Carol asked me if I would like to take part in her blog celebration of World Book Day. I have followed her lovely blog for quite some time and really enjoy reading the wonderful posts she puts together.

So when Carol asked me to come up with five books that I loved as a child, I thought it would be easy. What I didnt realise was that it would be hard to choose from the many books I loved. So after many hours of deliberation, I came up with the following five books.

Book Blogger Appreciation Week is an annual celebration of book blogs. Its a jam packed week dedicated to acknowledging the hard work and contribution of book bloggers to preserving our culture of literacy. This years celebration takes place September 12-September 16th. The week includes guest posts, dailty activities, giveaways, games, special podcasts, and an awards program exclusively devoted to book blogs.

As you can see I have been messing about with my blog title. I was envious of all the lovely blog headers. I got the effect I wanted but wish it was a little sharper.
